“Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness” – Desmond Tutu

Tropical Storm Irma created darkness for many of our friends and loved ones across the country and across the world. This storm also reached our camp home, Camp Hooray. This darkness led to more than $30,000 in damages and the sudden cancellation of our Big Trail & Tug event due to unsafe conditions for our participants and families.

This unexpected turn of events quickly went from darkness into a bright light of hope because of the amazing support of our community. In just 48 hours, we were able to raise the funds needed to clear the dangerous damage, and an overwhelming number of volunteers dropped everything that week to rally together and support the recovery of Camp Hooray. It was an incredible site to see such an outpouring of love and a reminder that we can always count on our community.

As a Fan Club member, you are part of this community as you continue to believe in ESP each and every day. We are so grateful for the hope you provide us in helping each of our participants thrive.
